Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Aviation Management, or a related field.·      

  • MBA or relevant postgraduate degree will be an advantage.

Experience
  • At least 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Airline, Travel Agent, Group of Companies, GSA
Additional Requirements
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills in English and Bengali.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of Bangladesh’s aviation and travel industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and sales analytics software.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

MAAS Travel & Tours Ltd, a leading travel and aviation services provider in Bangladesh and the appointed General Sales Agent (GSA) for Air India in Bangladesh, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our Air India sales operations. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and strengthening Air India’s presence in Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for Air India’s passenger in Bangladesh.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies and OTAs.

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.

  • Collaborate with Air India’s regional/global teams to align sales activities with corporate objectives.

  • Lead a sales team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

  • Monitor competitor activities and devise counter-strategies to maintain market leadership.

  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for senior management.

  • Ensure compliance with Air India’s brand guidelines and service standards.

  • Organize promotional events, workshops, and campaigns to boost brand visibility.

  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels.
