Professional Requirements:

The candidate must be technically sound in apparel merchandising with a strong focus on formalwear products such as suits, blazers, trousers, and other formal items, along with deep knowledge of garment construction, fabric consumption, trims, CAD pattern understanding, and bulk production processes within the context of the Bangladeshi RMG industry. Should have hands-on experience in ERP-based merchandising operations, including order tracking, inventory planning, and production monitoring through integrated systems. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to handle international buyers independently with strong negotiation, costing, and communication skills, while managing high-pressure situations and fast-paced delivery schedules. Must be capable of preparing accurate cost breakdowns and leading the full order cycle-from development to delivery-while maintaining effective TNA, sample submissions, raw material bookings, and coordinating closely with sourcing, commercial, and production departments. Experience working as part of a large merchandising or cross-functional team is essential, with proven people management capabilities and a collaborative mindset. The role requires in-depth understanding of buyer requirements, compliance standards, and factory production dynamics. Strong command over written and spoken English, high proficiency in MS Office and ERP tools, along with a strategic, quality-focused, and detail-oriented approach, are mandatory for this position.
