Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor/Honors

Graduate from UGC approved university. CSCM/CSCP/CPSM/PGD-SCM will be considered as an added advantage.

Experience
  • At least 8 years

Professional Requirements:

  • This position is responsible for leading and managing end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, inventory control, logistics, and delivery for the garments division of the group. The incumbent will report directly to the General Manager - Supply Chain and play a key role in ensuring timely sourcing and delivery of all raw materials (fabrics, trims, accessories, etc.) as per the production plan. He will develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to ensure cost-efficiency, on-time delivery, and quality assurance. The candidate must be able to forecast material demand in line with production schedules and ensure proper vendor selection, price negotiation, and delivery tracking. Strong collaboration is expected with Merchandising, Production, Commercial, and Planning teams to ensure smooth coordination across departments. The role also includes monitoring supplier performance and taking corrective actions in case of delays, non-compliance, or quality issues. The AGM will implement and monitor supply chain analytics and KPIs including lead time, on-time delivery rate, wastage, and inventory turnover. Maintaining optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory through data-driven inventory control is essential. The position requires ensuring compliance with import/export regulations and close coordination with freight forwarders, banks, and customs authorities. Proficiency in ERP or supply chain management software is required for maintaining transparency, data accuracy, and traceability. In addition to garments-related procurement, the candidate should also have knowledge or prior experience in supporting procurement activities for group-level infrastructure projects such as factory construction, utilities, and civil works. He will need to coordinate with project and engineering teams to ensure timely procurement of construction-related items as needed. The AGM will also be responsible for supervising and developing the supply chain team to enhance overall efficiency, accountability, and performance.
