Requirements

Education
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)

MBA in HR or equivalent from UGC approved university. SHRM CP/PHRi/CHRP/CHRM/HRBP will be considered as an added advantage.

Professional Requirements:

  • This senior leadership position is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the Human Resources function across all factories and units under the organization. The role requires oversight of all HR operations, including compliance, labor relations, organizational development, succession planning, policy formulation, and cross-functional collaboration with top management. The incumbent must ensure that HR functions are aligned with company goals, local labor laws, and international buyer standards. Responsibilities include developing and implementing long-term HR strategies that support business objectives and promote sustainable growth; leading workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives; advising top management on human capital trends, risks, and opportunities; reviewing, updating, and implementing HR policies in accordance with labor laws and global compliance standards; ensuring consistent application of disciplinary procedures, grievance handling, and employee engagement practices. The position also oversees compliance strategies across all units, ensuring adherence to social, ethical, environmental, and safety standards required by buyers and regulatory bodies. The role involves designing and implementing HR analytics and KPIs to measure employee performance, turnover, and engagement; driving a performance-based, ethical, and inclusive work culture; acting as the key liaison with BGMEA, Fire Service, Labor Department, Civil Defense, and buyers' representatives; collaborating closely with Head Office departments on strategic administrative, production, and security matters; leading crisis response plans for HR-related risks such as labor unrest or safety violations; and conducting root cause analysis on grievances and suggesting preventive strategies. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership and team-building capacity, expert knowledge in labor law, compliance, and international audit standards, strategic thinking, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, and proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems, and advanced reporting.
