Responsibilities & Context
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for academic and creative books within the assigned territory.
Identify new schools, tuition centers, and book retailers to expand market coverage.
Promote new titles and series effectively to teachers, headmasters, and book distributors.
Develop strong professional relationships with teachers and academic decision-makers.
Visit markets, schools, and shops as per route plan and submit daily visit and sales reports to the Area Sales Manager.
Collect market intelligence, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Ensure visibility of Captain Publishers’ products through merchandising and display at retail points.
Actively support book fairs, promotional campaigns, and teacher engagement events.
Ensure effective product rotation and avoid stock-outs or overstocking issues.
Work closely with the MIS & Communication team to ensure report accuracy and expense accountability.
Maintain discipline, professionalism, and brand image in the field.
