Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Industrial Eng & Production, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management
Experience
  • 7 to 12 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Manufacturing (FMCG), Food (Packaged)/Beverage, Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Electronic Equipment/Home Appliances, Chemical Industries, Toiletries
Additional Requirements
  • Age 30 to 45 years

Responsibilities & Context

  • Prepare monthly, weekly, and daily material requirement plans in coordination with production and sales forecasts.

  • Align the availability of raw and packaging materials with production schedules to ensure smooth operations.

  • Conduct capacity planning and align production plans with plant capabilities.

  • Collaborate with the Operations team to finalize a production schedule that meets commercial demand.

  • Ensure availability of quality-approved Raw Materials (RM) and Packaging Materials (PM) as per the finalized production plan.

  • Issue Purchase Orders (POs) to vendors following the prescribed terms and conditions.

  • Raise change control requests for new RM/PM suppliers as per guidance.

  • Support the implementation of new formulas, new raw materials, and packaging changes.

  • Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and Quality Standards in all material and dispatch functions.

  • Share responsibility with the Operations Manager for minimizing end-of-run RM, PM, Work-in-Progress (WIP), and Finished Goods (FG).

  • Ensure proper receipt, storage, and handling of RMs and PMs based on specific conditions, if applicable.

  • Support the planning, material procurement, and dispatch of EMO (External Manufacturing Operations) stocks to IGTC.

  • Interface with the Quality function to drive quality improvement projects at the supplier end.

  • Support activities related to product recalls, recovery processes, quality training, and technology transfer.

  • Ensure the creation of system setup for new formulas, as well as updates to formula/packaging changes.

  • Ensure that finished product label information (e.g., carton, tube, shipper) is accurate and updated for [New products, Changes in label information, Changes in formula or packaging]

  • Ensure that vendor ratings are regularly evaluated and shared with vendors and the organization.

  • Collaborate on supplier development and performance tracking in line with company expectations.
