About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Account Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a high-volume transaction environment, preferably within a national-level company, and be skilled in traditional accounting methods involving minimal software reliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and manage manual ledgers and accounting records
Supervise cash transactions, vouchers, and journal entries
Oversee daily financial transactions and ensure proper documentation
Perform bank reconciliations and handle monthly closing processes
Prepare and maintain audit files and support external/internal audits
Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and internal controls
Supervise junior accounts staff and coordinate with other departments
Generate periodic financial reports as required by management
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on accounting experience
Background in clerical/non-software-based accounting systems
Experience in high-volume transaction businesses such as manufacturing, distribution, FMCG, or national companies
Strong command over manual accounting processes
Working knowledge of MS Excel is mandatory
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
