Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Electrical, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Experience
  • At least 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Training Institutes, Engineering Firms, Consulting Firms, Travel Agent, Manpower Recruitment, Real Estate, Group of Companies, Diagnostic Centre, Developer
Additional Requirements
  • Must know MS Word & MS Excel.
  • Must have working experience in Port.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on port handling equipment including RTG cranes, spreaders, container handling systems, and diesel/generator engines.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in cranes, motors, control panels, substations, and related systems.
  • Read, interpret, and update electrical circuit diagrams and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) schematics.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests using electrical testing tools (multimeters, insulation testers, clamp meters, etc.).
  • Understand and apply PLC logic and HMI interfaces to diagnose and resolve automation issues in equipment.
  • Support the installation, commissioning, and integration of electrical systems and instruments.
  • Ensure all work complies with electrical safety standards, port authority regulations, and company QC procedures.
  • Collaborate with mechanical technicians and operations staff for system coordination and efficient troubleshooting.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance and inspection logs for each asset.
  • Provide feedback and support for continuous improvement in equipment performance and maintenance procedures.
