B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering / Textile Engineering
Candidates with relevant experience in textile/apparel manufacturing (Sweater, Yarn, Dyes/Chemicals) will get preference.

Understanding of import regulations, chemical safety (MSDS), buyer compliance requirements, and sustainability practices (e.g., OEKO-TEX, ZDHC, GOTS).
Keep up-to-date with global raw material price fluctuations, supply chain trends, and regional sourcing alternatives.
Job Context:
We are seeking three experienced and proactive professionals to join our Supply Chain Management team: one to oversee Sweater Yarns and Tow, and the other to manage Dyes and Chemical operations.
Each role will involve planning, sourcing, and inventory management to ensure uninterrupted production. The ideal candidates should be strategic thinkers with strong analytical and negotiation skills, capable of managing supplier relationships (both local and international), driving cost efficiency, and ensuring policy compliance. Experience in the textile/apparel manufacturing industry is essential.
Job Responsibilities:
For Yarn & Tow SCM Role:
Ensure sourcing of yarn and tow products at the right quality, cost, and timeline.
Develop new suppliers and evaluate existing ones.
Monitor stock levels, working capital, and optimize yarn inventory across SBUs.
Prepare annual procurement budgets and contribute to supply chain financial planning.
Coordinate with production teams to meet material requirements based on MRP plans.
Collaborate with the Commercial department to ensure timely import documentation and clearance.
Analyze stock pipelines and initiate procurement decisions accordingly.
Source new products as per market trends.
For Dyes & Chemical SCM Role:
Develop strategic vendor networks to ensure proper sourcing of dyes & chemicals.
Source both from international & local vendors.
Maintain optimum chemical stocks for all SBU’s through different strategies &vendor support.
Ensure cost-effective supply and timely delivery based on production needs.
Control chemical inventory and ensure proper documentation and safe storage based on social compliance audit requirements.
Monitor supplier performance and initiate corrective actions where needed.
Work closely with technical and production teams for specification matching and approvals.
Common Responsibilities for Both Roles:
Need to have good knowledge about customs and commercial functions.
Need to have an idea regarding bonded facility operations and VAT.
Strategic sourcing and procurement planning are aligned with commercial and production goals.
Analyse every material requirement list that comes from the factory to understand the requirement urgency.
Lead and mentor the team, ensuring accountability and task ownership.
