Responsibilities & Context

Arkay Multimedia Limited invites applications from energetic individuals for the position of Outdoor Beautification and Development Coordinator Work (Assistant Manager). This position will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all beautification-related projects within designated areas. This includes managing landscape and design initiatives, coordinating with relevant government/private authorities, and overseeing on-ground implementation and maintenance.

  • Managing and supervising all our landscaping & beautification teams, covering all our sites.
  • Implementing a work schedule and quality control system for all teams & locations in order to carry out the work.
  • Plan, develop and care for all our beautification and landscaping projects.
  • To ensure that the supervisors are doing their routine work properly and efficiently.
  • To ensure all gardeners are working effectively and to monitor the quality of their work.
  • Must ensure regular removal of unwanted plants, shrubs and weeds.
  • Surveying sites to identify existing situation and what it should be like.
  • Setting up quality standards and ensuring we are up to the standard required.
  • Ensure regular watering is done.
  • Creating and maintaining a weekly watering schedule.
  • Ensuring regular hedge cutting is done and creating a routine and plan for hedge cutting.
  • Ensuring grass cutting is done and creating a routine and plan for grass cutting.
  • Must have time management skills to ensure the gardeners are working effectively & efficiently.
  • Must ensure that all gardening equipment’s are available to the gardeners. Any equipment not functioning must be immediately repaired or replaced.
  • Must have inventory of all gardening equipment and must ensure that they are stored safely at the end of the day’s work.
  • In case of absence of staff, must recruit daily labor to ensure that the work is carried out smoothly.
  • Work in field and in office. Must visit sites daily to provide example to team members on how to work efficiently.
  • Assist in preparation of work schedule and job assignment.
  • Budget for new development work.
  • Regularly replace all damaged plants.
  • Daily inspection of landscaping spots to ensure overall presentation and condition of grounds and gardens meet the standards and quality of our designs.
  • Make sure that the health of landscape is at its best condition. Consult with horticulturist if there is bacterial attack on plants.
  • Arrange daily meetings with supervisors at office and at spots and give them daily assignments to follow up.
  • Ensure regular repair and maintenance work is carried out.
  • Removal of poster and graffiti.
  • Removal of unwanted soil.
  • Having barbed wire in place to protect medians etc.
  • To ensure that all fountains are presentable and fully functional at all times.
  • Maintain different contract of beatification with City Corporation.
  • Maintain Photocopy and scanned copy of contract of beatification of City Corporation.
  • Provide all necessary support to the Managing Director to renew the contract of beatification with City Corporation.
  • Arrange Labor & gardener when urgent night work required.
  • Monitor & maintain various equipment (pump Motor, van, tank, kodal, kachi, sabol, khunti, khuchani, pipe etc.) of beautification works.
  • Coordinate big tree trimming which work at night.
  • Arranging truck, labor, equipment, staffs for night trimming work.
  • Monitor medians, check for any problems in median.
  • Monitor giving pesticides in medians to make sure that medians’ beauty are sustained.
  • Upload activities in the messenger group.
  • Give support in installing LED screens.
  • Coordinate Khacha Dhalai of LED screens.
  • Give support in installing LED screens due to damage or for any accidents occurred.
  • Electric meter recharge on time and adequately ensuring no screens go off.
  • Maintain & ensure Electric meter is always recharged so that no LED screens get off.
  • Purchase different electrical items for LED screen from vendors.
  • Manage DESCO and related documents are always up to date.
  • Prepared requisition on various expenses.
  • Maintain and manage inventory of documents·
  • Renewal of trade license on time.
  • Manage and maintain photos (old and new) of various works of AML.
  • Submit proposal/letter to city corporation for renewal of contract with city corporation.
  • Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.·      Negotiate with vendors for execution of maintenance work.·      Conducting regular inspections and audits of facilities and equipment.
  • Monitoring the inventory of equipment and maintenance supplies.
  • Contact with DECO/DPDC for electric line connection in the designated site.
  • Submit Application to DESCCO/DPDC for electric line connection.
  • Direction Design of Connection Place;
  • Contact with DESCO engineer and inspect the site for electric line connection.
  • Monitoring & maintenance of Machineries as per company rules.
  • Scheduling maintenance tasks, address issues before problems occur.
  • Developing maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation·
  • Performing scheduled maintenance actions, if needed.
  • Informing Management about factory and machineries.
  • Carrying out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
  • Handle land related cases with utmost care.
  • Prepare case details and submit the same to MD.
  • Attend courts for cases on due date.
  • Deliver various documents to lawyer/court on different cases.
  • Regularly liaise with court officials for smooth handling of cases.
  • Monitoring & inform update of cases.
  • Manage locals to ensure safety of AML land and premises.
  • Visit to AML’s land to oversee whether lands are in company’s grip or not.
  • Report MD about the lands and premises.
  • Inform management from time to time regarding office related activities.
