Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
  • Must have a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
  • 3 to 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Shipyard, Industrial Machineries (Generator, Diesel Engine etc.)
Additional Requirements
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in capital machinery sales, preferably in renowned material handling equipment.

  • Strong knowledge of the marine, port, logistics, or manufacturing industries to identify opportunities.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office for managing reports, presentations, and analyses.

  • Hard-working, efficient, and interested in traveling anywhere within the country.

  • Positive work ethic and results-oriented in assigned responsibilities.

  • Updated Knowledge of customer demand, market conditions, market penetration, segmentation, and pricing.


Responsibilities & Context

This role will drive revenue growth by promoting and selling Hyster forklifts, container handlers, warehouse equipment, other material handling equipment, and Cummins Marine engines, gensets, and spare parts.

The incumbent must have experience in selling capital machinery.

The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and managing the sales process.

  • Achieve annual sales targets for Hyster forklifts, container handlers, other material handling equipment, and marine products.

  • Develop rapport with the potential customers in the growing industries such as marine, logistics, shipping, warehousing, ports, and manufacturing.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Maintain a consistent schedule of regular customer visits and stay in continuous contact to identify and seize all potential sales opportunities.

  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints, provide technical consultations, conduct product demos, and prepare sales proposals.

  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.

  • Prepare and submit tender documents, ensuring they meet all customer and regulatory requirements.
