Job Description

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Graduation (BBA) and post-graduation (MBA) in Accounting or Finance preferred.

  • CA CC with Part-qualified CA, preferably at the Advanced level.

Experience
  • 10 to 12 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Garments, Garments Accessories
Additional Requirements
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., WFX, SAP).

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong understanding of tax, VAT and customs regulations along with accounting standards.

  • In-depth knowledge of financial management, including financial planning, budgeting, cost control, and cost-saving strategies.

  • Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to present financial reports clearly to non-financial audiences.

  • Proactive in addressing financial discrepancies and implementing solutions promptly.


Responsibilities & Context

  • Develop long-term financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.

  • Lead financial planning sessions with senior management to set objectives and allocate resources.    

  • Prepare annual budgets, including departmental budgets, and forecast revenues and expenses.

  • Conduct variance analysis between budgeted and actual figures, providing corrective recommendations.

  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement).

  • Create detailed reports for investors, lenders, and board members as required.·       

  • Use financial data to prepare feasibility studies, project evaluations, and ROI analyses.    

  • Oversee tax planning to minimize liabilities within legal frameworks.

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including corporate tax, VAT, Customs and other applicable regulations.

  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards (IFRS) and tax laws to implement necessary adjustments.

  • Liaise with external and internal auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.

  • Develop and implement internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure data integrity.

  • Identify potential financial risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.

  • Manage day-to-day treasury functions, ensuring the company meets its short-term obligations.

  • Optimize the capital structure by balancing equity and debt financing.

  • Negotiate terms with financial institutions for loans, overdrafts, or credit lines.

  • Any other task assign by the management.
