Requirements

Education
  • B.Sc in Animal Husbandry/ DVM from any reputed university

Experience
  • 5 to 7 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Hatchery
Additional Requirements
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in poultry hatchery.

  • Strong understanding of incubation, chick quality, hatchery biosecurity protocols.

  • Effective leadership, communication and team management skills.

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bangla.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.


Responsibilities & Context

  • Ensure optimal incubation procedures are consistently followed to achieve maximum hatchability and chick quality.

  • Maintain biosecurity protocols, and oversee thorough cleaning and disinfection of all hatchery areas to prevent disease outbreaks.

  • Supervise the proper storage and handling of eggs in a clean, bio-secure environment from collection through setting and transfer.

  • Ensure chicks are hatched under ideal conditions and processed with minimal stress, maintaining the highest standards of quality and welfare.

  • Train hatchery staff regularly to improve performance, adherence to protocols, and understanding of hatchery operations.

  • Lead and manage the hatchery team efficiently, oversee day-to-day operations, maintain records, and coordinate with relevant departments.
