Experience
A minimum 5 of years of progressive experience within the banking sector. At least 3 years of hands-on experience within an NRB (Non-Resident Bangladeshi) services, Wage Earners' Remittance or a closely related Financial Institutions Department.
Thorough understanding and practical application of KYC/CDD principles as per Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combating Financing of Terrorism (CFT) guidelines issued by the BFIU and prevailing international standards.
Demonstrable expertise in the operational and business development facets of the Wage Earners' Remittance Business.
A sound understanding of the Foreign Exchange Market dynamics.
Exceptional negotiation, interpersonal and communication abilities (both written and verbal), essential for effective stakeholder engagement.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the proven capacity to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented and deadline-driven environment.
Candidates with established proficiency in comprehensive remittance operations and existing relationships within the MTO network will possess a distinct advantage.

Strategic Growth & MTO Partnership Development:
Driving the expansion of the Bank's wage earner remittance portfolio through strategic initiatives and comprehensive market analysis.
Identifying, negotiating and formalising agreements with new Money TransferOrganisations (MTOs) and Exchange Houses globally to broaden remittance corridors and enhance market penetration.
Cultivating and maintaining robust professional relationships with existing MTOs and Exchange Houses, ensuring seamless collaboration and exploring avenues for remittance growth.
Operational Excellence & Regulatory Adherence:
Conducting comprehensive reviews and timely updates of Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) documentation for all partner MTOs/Exchange Houses, ensuring strict adherence to AML/CFT guidelines set forth by the Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) and other pertinent regulatory bodies.
Overseeing the effective management and compliant disbursement of cash incentives designated for wage earners.
Coordinating the strategic placement of MTO signage and branding materials across all Bank branches to enhance visibility and service accessibility for our valued customers.
Developing and delivering targeted training programs for branch personnel to ensure proficient, secure and smooth remittance processing.
Guaranteeing the timely, accurate and error-free submission of all regulatory returns and reports, including Rationalised Input Template (RIT) submissions, to Bangladesh Bank.
Maintaining meticulous, organised and readily auditable records of all remittance-related documentation, agreements and critical correspondence.
Divisional Support & Ad Hoc Projects:
Undertaking additional responsibilities and strategic projects pertinent to Financial Institutions, Relationship Management Arrangements (RMA) and the Correspondent Banking sector, delegated by line managers contributing to the Bank’s overarching objectives.
