Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc)
  • Minimum B.Sc. in Food Technology/Engineering/Chemistry from any reputed institution.
Experience
  • At least 6 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Manufacturing (FMCG), Group of Companies
Additional Requirements
  • Age at most 35 years

Responsibilities & Context

  • Supervise and conduct physical, chemical, and microbiological analysis of raw materials (wheat), in-process products, and final flour products.

  • Ensure testing procedures comply with internal standards, government regulations (e.g., FSSAI, ISO, HACCP), and customer specifications.

  • Monitor parameters like moisture, ash content, protein, gluten, and other flour quality indicators.

  • Help in calibration and maintenance of lab equipment and instruments.

  • Assist in maintaining and optimizing quality control protocols across production stages.

  • Maintain accurate QC documentation, logs, and records as per company SOPs and audit requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and food safety standards.

  • Supervise lab technicians and junior QC staff.
