Job Summary:
Muslim Hands is a UK-registered international relief and development NGO, established in 1993 in response to the Bosnian crisis. Since then, it has grown into a global humanitarian organization delivering emergency aid and long-term development programs in over 32 countries.
Muslim Hands has been operating in Bangladesh since 1995, focusing on improving the lives of vulnerable communities through interventions in Education, Health, Food Security, Livelihoods, Shelter, WASH, Religious Infrastructure and Emergency Relief.
Muslim Hands Gulzar Bahar Khanam (RH) School of Excellence, Gazipur, a part of our Education Programme is currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Assistant Teacher- Business Studies, ICT & Assistant Teacher Primary Level to join our academic team. The selected candidate will play a vital role in teaching students of classes Nine and Ten based on the National Curriculum of Bangladesh, supporting holistic student development and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Delivery & Lesson Planning:
- Prepare and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons aligned with the National Curriculum Textbook Board (NCTB).
- Utilize effective teaching methodologies, examples and case studies relevant to business concepts.
Student Assessment & Performance Monitoring:
- Conduct regular class tests, assignments and term exams to assess students' learning progress.
- Maintain accurate academic records and report students' progress to the Principal and parents.
- Classroom & Learning Environment Management:
- Foster a positive, inclusive and disciplined learning environment that encourages student participation.
- Use interactive and participatory teaching methods to improve comprehension and interest in Business Studies.
Academic Support & Mentorship:
- Provide individual or group academic support as needed.
- Motivate and mentor students to develop critical thinking, ethical values and leadership skills.
- Professional Collaboration & Development:
- Work collaboratively with other subject teachers and school staff to enhance academic quality.
- Participate in teacher training, workshops and curriculum updates.

- Adhere to the school's safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Promote values of honesty, respect, gender equity and inclusiveness within the learning environment.
