Requirements

Education
  • Masters

Post-graduation/Graduation from a reputed UGC-approved university, concentration in Finance, Marketing, Management or Economics is preferred.

Experience
  • 5 to 7 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Banks
Additional Requirements
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in corporate banking Relationship Management.

  • Knowledge of trade and working capital financing, public finance, credit principles and necessary industry insights.

  • Experience in credit analysis and structuring of credit facilities for large corporates as well as public sector entities.

  • Conversant with regulatory guidelines, policies, laws, and practices for lending and recovery.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients.

  • Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation and persuasion skills.

  • Knowledge of effective written and oral communication in English and Bengali.

  • Proficient in customer-centricity, self-propelled, and capable of meeting deadlines.

Senior Relationship Manager, Relationship Unit 5, Corporate and Institutional Banking

Job Grade : AVP-SAVP

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Attain business targets through onboarding new accounts and maximizing utilization from the existing portfolio of customers.

  • Identify and acquire new clients, especially in public sector in line with bank’s risk appetite and strategic objectives.

  • Managing and deepening banking relationships with public sector clients, including government ministries and various state-owned entities.

  • Prepare and submit comprehensive credit proposals in accordance with bank’s risk appetite and regulatory guidelines.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., Credit Risk, Operations, Trade, Treasury) to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders and regulators including Bangladesh Bank.

  • Monitor assigned client portfolio to ensure compliance with loan covenants, maintain asset quality and identify any potential risk early to safeguard the bank’s interest from possible losses.

  • Raise early alerts, issue diary notes, and conduct regular client visits to report potential risks on time to the senior team.

  • Perform projects and any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
