A Master's degree in Public Health, Social Science, Development Studies, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in public health projects, with a strong focus on monitoring and quality assurance, training, and program management.
Prior experience working with donor-funded eye health projects will be considered an added advantage.
Preferred age is up to 50 years; however, this may be relaxed for exceptionally qualified candidates.
Proficiency in MS Office application suite.
The incumbent will lead the SMC’s Vision Screening Project.
S/he will be responsible to plan, implement and monitor the activities of the project.
S/he will coordinate and collaborate with day-to-day communication with donors as well as with the field forces to expedite the sales of eyeglasses by the selected Blue Star pharmacies/providers. In addition, s/he will maintain regular supply of eyeglasses in coordination with the star network teams of SMC and with the donor.
S/he will report to the Additional General Manager-Star Networks. S/he will closely work with Manager-Blue Star Program and the other programs of SMC to achieve project goals.
S/he will have to prepare program and financial reports as per donor requirement as well as SMC’s internal documentation. S/he will provide guidance and support to the field team to achieve project targets.
S/he will plan and implement the promotional, marketing and distribution of reading glasses among the selected BSP-outlets.
