Responsibilities & Context

We are hiring a Deputy Manager-Business Development who will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mindset, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to develop and maintain long-term, high-value partnerships. This is a results-driven role where your ability to secure favorable pricing, exclusive terms, and consistent supply will directly impact Arogga’s growth and profitability. You will act as the primary liaison between Arogga and our pharmaceutical partners, ensuring alignment, performance, and mutual value creation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage strong relationships with pharmaceutical companies, wholesalers, and supply chain partners.
  • Negotiate pricing, credit terms, contracts, and commercial agreements to ensure the best value for Arogga.
  • Identify and onboard new pharmaceutical and other suppliers aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service standards. Analyze pharmaceutical market trends, pricing dynamics, and competitor activity to identify sourcing opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with procurement, finance, and operations teams to align supplier capabilities with business needs.
  • Calculate the sales force's incentives and performance evaluation according to the policy.
  • Design training modules and train the sales, warehouse, and logistics teams.
  • Attend industry meetings, conferences, trade shows, and networking events to establish the company's presence and build professional relationships.
  • Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities through meetings, networking, and other channels, including market research, competitor analysis, and customer needs assessment.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to management on business development activities, pipeline status, key performance indicators, and data-driven insights.
  • Maintain consistent communication and relationship “warmth” with all key partners.
  • Track, report, and evaluate supplier KPIs, risk factors, and deal outcomes
