Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor/Honors, Masters
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Agriculture or relevant field.
Experience
  • 5 to 8 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)
Additional Requirements
  • The Required Job Location will be the Northern Division.

  • 2-3 years in a leadership role in the relevant field.

  • Strong skills in team management, corn agronomy

  • Rural Marketing, Strategic planning, and proficiency in Excel and agri-tech tools.


Responsibilities & Context

The Manager – Corn Integration is responsible for leading and supervising all corn seed sales and contract farming activities. This includes managing a field team of around 15 personnel, planning seed sales strategies, overseeing corn cultivation through contract growers, and ensuring the timely procurement of quality corn. The role focuses on building a sustainable corn supply chain through strong farmer relationships, team leadership, and efficient project execution.

  • Team Leadership & Supervision: Lead and manage a field team by setting goals, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing ongoing support through meetings, reviews, and field visits.

  • Seed and Organic fertilizer Sales Management: Promote hybrid seed and organic fertilizer sales through direct marketing, field staff support, and promotional activities, while ensuring effective after-sales service and grower satisfaction.

  • Contract Farming Operations: Manage farmer selection and contract compliance, oversee input distribution and field monitoring, and ensure farming practices meet the company’s agronomic and quality standards.

  • Corn Production & Procurement Coordination: Set production targets, monitor crop progress, coordinate harvesting, and ensure quality control during post-harvest handling and logistics.

  • Farmer Engagement: Foster strong grower relationships, resolve farmer issues, and ensure transparent pricing, payments, and communication.

  • Monitoring and Reporting: Maintain accurate field and procurement records, generate regular reports with actionable insights, and ensure compliance with audit and documentation standards.
