Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Marketing, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing
Experience
  • At least 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Bakery (Cake, Biscuit, Bread)
Additional Requirements
  • Age at least 35 years
  • Proven experience in sales, with at least [X] years in a managerial role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights.
  • Deep understanding of food distribution networks and consumer behavior in the F&B sector.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed across regions.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve organizational goals.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives.
  • Set sales targets and track performance against targets.
  • Identify new market opportunities and expand customer base.
  • Maintain relationships with key accounts, distributors, wholesalers, and large retail chains.
  • Provide detailed sales forecasting and regular performance reports to senior management.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely and high-quality order fulfillment.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with food safety regulations and company quality standards.
  • Monitor competitor products, pricing, and market positioning to maintain competitive edge.
