The position of " Engineer/Assistant Engineer" will work in a team. As part of team responsibility he will work to handle day to day electrical maintenance responsibilities and assist in ensuring smooth operation of machineries in plant.
Create awareness among the employees regarding safety guide lines "ZERO TOLERANCE" for unsafe activity working in the assigned area & ensure that all employees follow UCIL safety guide lines.
Carry out all electrical maintenance activities as per UCIL/FCIL standards to achieve the targeted availability of equipment's.
Responsible to provide training to subordinates Electricians, Jr. Electricians for development and reach to next level.
Review of electrical spares requirement of the assigned area as support to HOD.
Review of electrical Drawings / documents submitted in the given section to ensure the completeness, adequacy and timely availably of the same.
Involvement in electrical modification / improvement activities in the designated area.
Minimize the repetition of electrical jobs in the designated area.
Reduce the cost on electrical maintenance activities in the assigned area.
Ensure preventive maintenance plan for electrical machineries and equipment.
