A four-year Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in Social Science.
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in public health projects, including conducting training sessions, with strong facilitation and presentation skills.
Preferred age is up to 45 years; however, this may be relaxed for exceptionally qualified candidates.
Proficiency in MS Office application suite.
The incumbent will assist Deputy Manager for capacity development of SMC’s Blue star network providers on vision screening through organizing and implementing training programs effectively.
S/he will facilitate basic and refresher training on vision screening for the selected Blue star providers.
The position will also follow up providers after training, assess further training need.
S/he will play a key role in providing support to ensure the successful implementation of the project activities.
This position needs extensive travel within the country for at least 70% of her/his time for facilitating training session field level.
S/he will monitor and provide onsite technical support to the BSP-outlets for effective implementation of the Vision Screening Project of SMC.
