Responsibilities & Context

Job Context: Academic

Job Responsibilities:

1. Academic Leadership

  • Curriculum Development: Design and oversee a comprehensive curriculum for Al Quran and Arabic Language that aligns with both the school's Islamic values and international academic standards.

  • Instructional Oversight: Ensure effective teaching methodologies are employed, and that lesson plans meet educational objectives.

  • Assessment and Evaluation: Develop and implement assessment tools to monitor student progress and program effectiveness.

2. Faculty Management

  • Staff Supervision: Lead and manage the department's teaching staff, providing guidance and support.

  • Professional Development: Organize training sessions and workshops to enhance teachers' skills and knowledge.

  • Performance Appraisal: Conduct regular evaluations of faculty performance, offering constructive feedback and development plans.

3. Student Engagement and Support

  • Spiritual Guidance: Foster a deep understanding and appreciation of the Quran and Arabic language among students.

  • Mentorship: Provide academic and spiritual mentorship to students, encouraging their personal and educational growth.

  • Extracurricular Activities: Organize events such as Quran recitation competitions and Arabic language clubs to enhance student engagement.

4. Administrative Responsibilities

  • Policy Implementation: Ensure departmental policies align with the school's mission and are effectively implemented.

  • Resource Management: Manage departmental resources, including textbooks, teaching materials, and technological tools.

  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of departmental activities and report to school administration as required.

5. Community and Parental Involvement

  • Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with parents regarding student progress and departmental initiatives.

  • Community Engagement: Collaborate with community leaders and organizations to enhance the department's programs and outreach.

Working Days: 6 Days a Week

Timing: 6:20 AM to 3:00 PM
