Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor/Honors
Experience
  • At least 10 years
Additional Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in FMCG sales, with 5+ years in modern trade leadership roles.

  • Strong network and experience with national chains (e.g., Agora, Swapno , Unimart, Meena bazar etc.).

  • Proven track record of handling large territories

  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Experience in food categories like rice, spices, or daily essentials preferred.


Responsibilities & Context

We are looking for a highly experienced and result-driven Head of Sales – Modern Trade to lead and expand our presence in organized retail across Bangladesh

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead national sales strategy for modern trade (supermarkets, hypermarkets, retail chains).

  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key accounts and modern trade distributors.

  • Lead and mentor a team of regional sales managers and executives.

  • Drive volume growth, visibility, and product placement in major retail chains.

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to run in-store promotions and trade marketing activities.

  • Analyze performance metrics and provide strategic direction for sales growth.
