Requirements

Education
  • Masters
  • Master’s degree (minimum) in a relevant subject; PhD preferred
  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, PGCHE) is desirable
  • Experience in teaching in higher or further education settings
  • Strong knowledge of UK degree structures and learning outcomes
  • Proven ability to adapt and implement the UK curriculum for international delivery
Additional Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Experience with blended or online learning environments
  • Ability to engage and support international student cohorts
  • Industry or research experience in your subject area
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lectures and tutorials to undergraduate and/or international foundation students

  • Develop course content, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with UK higher education standards

  • Adapt and contextualize the UK degree curriculum to suit international learners

  • Support student learning and academic progress

  • Participate in curriculum development and internal academic review processes

  • Engage in departmental meetings and contribute to quality assurance
