Education
  • Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Chemical Technical/Engineering, Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) in Pharmacy
Experience
  • At least 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Cosmetics/Toiletries/Personal Care, Healthcare/Lifestyle product
Additional Requirements
  • Age at least 27 years
  • Proven experience in the formulation and launch of Skin Care products.

  • Strong knowledge of Skin Care regulatory standards, GMP, and product safety protocols.

  • Excellent project management, leadership, and cross-functional coordination skills.

  • Creative mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Knowledge of sustainability trends in Skin Care packaging and ingredients.

  • Knowledge of packaging in 3D, and artworks.

  • Knowledge of different types of packaging materials.

  • Manage multiple brands of Skin Care at different stages through strong prioritization and planning.

  • Proficiency in formulation and project management tools.


Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

To lead the entire product development team of Skin Care, ensuring innovation of packaging, quality, compliance, and profitability. The role requires strategic leadership in managing teams, developing plans, coordinating with Brand, Creative, Sales, regulatory teams, ensuring adherence to industry standards, and operational efficiency. 

New Product Management:

  • Lead new product development from concept to market launch.Ensure packaging meets standards for design integrity, usability, creativity and brand alignment.

  • Develop innovative and sustainable packaging.

  • Ensure full compliance with GMP, HSE, safety, and all applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain proactive relationships with licensing authorities and ensure timely updates of legal documentation.

  • Point person on skincare product briefs, formula evaluation, marketing, artwork, regulatory deliverables, and packaging.

  • Drive profitability of operations through continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Teamwork and working relationship within the sales marketing team, brand department, factory & production department, QC department & other internal departments.

  • Collaboration with R&D, Production, Packaging, and Process Development teams.

  • Continuous improvement initiatives and innovation in product development & cost optimization.

  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop compelling stories around active ingredients, driving cohesive and results-driven skincare regimens.

  • Physical market visit and insights analysis for New Product Development (NPD).

  • Manage and lead claim approvals in collaboration with regulatory teams, overseeing formulation testing, including clinical trials, stability, and compatibility studies.

  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure the product is safe, effective, and meets customer expectations.

  • Ensure adherence to SOPs throughout the product development process to uphold quality and regulatory compliance.

Budget & Team Management:

  • Ensuring cost-effective strategies.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Product Development team.

  • Cohesive team development.

  • Manage budgets to maximize impact and ROI.
