Monitor and manage admitted patients in the general ward under the supervision of senior consultants.
Conduct regular ward rounds, assess patient progress, and update treatment plans as necessary.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including clinical notes and investigation reports.
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide necessary first-line treatment.
Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure proper implementation of prescribed treatments and care plans.
Communicate with patients and their attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress updates.
Ensure timely requisition and follow-up of diagnostic tests and interpret results for clinical decisions.
Adhere strictly to hospital policies, medical ethics, and patient safety protocols.
Assist in discharge planning, prepare discharge summaries, and provide follow-up instructions.
