Ensure maximum utilization of resources, especially machines, with minimal changeover time between product categories.
Monitor production progress and adjust schedules proactively to manage delays, equipment issues, or supply chain disruptions.
Verify feasibility and efficiency of the planning model, making necessary modifications based on operational realities.
Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, production, and maintenance teams to ensure material availability and smooth workflow.
Coordinate with quality control to ensure production outputs meet all quality and compliance standards.
Communicate regularly with sales and customer service teams regarding order status, lead times, and delivery timelines.
Track actual vs. planned performance, identify gaps, and take corrective actions to meet production and delivery targets.
Analyze planning and production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of production schedules, material consumption, and inventory levels.
Generate and present reports on capacity utilization, planning performance, machine changeovers, and workflow improvements.
Support digitalization and automation initiatives to modernize and streamline the planning function.
Maintain effective cross-functional communication with all stakeholders to ensure alignment, accountability, and issue resolution.
