Minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience in coordinating development projects, preferably in fisheries, livelihoods, or community-based natural resource management.
Proven experience in managing teams, supervising field operations, and handling logistics in remote or coastal settings.
Proficiency in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting with a focus on data quality and documentation.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both Bangla and English.
Master degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Biological Science, Environmental Science, Fisheries, or a related discipline.

This Terms of Reference (ToR) outlines the scope of work, key responsibilities, and qualifications required for the position of Project Coordinator under the Technical Assistance Services for “Fisheries Livelihood Enhancement Project in the Coastal Area of the Bay of Bengal” (FiLEP) (Component: Livelihood and Nutrition (LNC)). The project is funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and implemented through a Joint Venture of NACOM & New Vision Solution Ltd. in Association with MUKTI Cox’s Bazar. The selected professional will play a critical role in achieving the project’s objectives related to sustainable fisheries management and improved coastal livelihoods.
Reports to: Team Leader
Duration: Initially 8 months (with a possibility of extension)
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee all field-level project implementation activities to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
Manage and supervise the field staff, providing regular guidance, performance monitoring, and administrative support.
Develop and implement field visit schedules, ensuring appropriate logistical arrangements for effective field operations.
Ensure high-quality data collection, entry, and reporting through close monitoring and quality control mechanisms.
Maintain consistent communication with the FiLEP Office, providing updates and ensuring operational alignment.
Prepare detailed progress reports for submission to management and donor agencies, highlighting field-level achievements and challenges.
Facilitate community engagement activities including FGDs, PRA, meetings, and training sessions with beneficiaries.
Monitor project activities, identify field-level issues, and provide timely solutions to ensure smooth implementation.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the Team Leader in line with the project’s objectives.
