At least 3 years of experience in project coordination/management in youth development, entrepreneurship, or similar thematic areas.
Maximum Age limit is 45 Years (may be flexible for highly experienced candidates)Strong leadership, team coordination, and communication skills.
Experience in report writing and donor communications.
Knowledge of youth entrepreneurship, SDG 8, and community mobilization preferred.
Willingness to travel frequently to rural project sites.
Location: Chuadanga (with frequent field visits across target upazilas)
Contract Duration: 20 months; Aug 2025 – March 2027 (Based on fund availability)

WAVE Foundation is a civil society organization established in 1990, has been implementing multifaceted activities for the socio economic development of the poor and marginalized as well as the establishment of universal human rights and good governance. Besides, the organization is conducting issue based policy advocacy and campaigns. WAVE is driven by its motto 'Together for Better Life’ towards the vision of establishing 'A just and Prosperous society’. WAVE’s Youth Entrepreneurship Development Project aims to empower young people in Bangladesh as leaders in their communities to identify innovative, sustainable solutions to local and global. It focuses on increasing youth engagement, voice, agency and participation in policy development in Bangladesh and to continue to develop future change-makers with a global perspective.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the overall implementation of the Youth Entrepreneurship Development project under WAVE Foundation.
Prepare narrative and financial reports for the donor and organizational management.
Supervise and coordinate with the Project Officer, facilitators, mentors, and field staff.
Oversee youth outreach, recruitment, and community mobilization activities.
Coordinate the planning and execution of project components including training sessions, bootcamps, pitch events, mentoring, and seed fund disbursement.
Liaise with the British Council, local government institutions, private sector actors, and other stakeholders.
Ensure inclusive, gender-responsive, and youth-centered approaches in all aspects of project implementation.
Oversee the development and execution of the project’s communication and outreach strategy.
Supervise social media campaigns, digital content creation, and visibility efforts.
Guide the documentation and publication of success stories, field updates, and creative media content.
Facilitate networking and linkages between young entrepreneurs, mentors, and institutional platforms.
