Education

A Post-Graduation from any reputed university is usually the minimum requirement for entry into the profession when applying for roles, candidates to make sure that he/she have a thorough understanding of Corporate Affairs, communication, and operational management.

Experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication in English and Bengali.

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.

  • Proficient in MS office Word, Excel, and Power Point presentation.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Description

  • The incumbent will be responsible for Policy, Regulatory Affairs, and Research. This role involves maintaining regular communication with key stakeholders, regulators, and relevant ministries/government agencies. The individual will also coordinate with member organizations of the Chamber, as well as other business chambers and associations, while working closely with the top management.

  • The position requires active engagement with various committees of the Chamber to organize meetings and ensure smooth coordination with respective sectors of the Chamber’s membership. Building and nurturing strong relationships with legislators, development agencies, policy advocacy groups, and consumer representatives is essential to effectively achieve the Chamber’s strategic objectives.

  • Key responsibilities include drafting reports, conducting relevant market studies, and performing research on thematic issues. The incumbent will be expected to conduct sector-wise industry surveys, data analysis, and prepare detailed research reports as required by the Chamber.

  • The role also involves close collaboration with the top management and designated committees to formulate industry-related policies and strategies aligned with global standards and regulatory guidelines. Where necessary, the candidate will engage in dialogue with policy and regulatory bodies to facilitate approval processes. The individual will represent the top management and the organization in regulatory proceedings, consultation meetings, legislative hearings, conferences, and other key external forums.
