Proven experience as a Sub-Editor, Copy Editor, or similar editorial role, preferably in sports or lifestyle media.
Impeccable grammar, spelling, and attention to detail.
Familiarity with publishing software and online content management systems.
Comfortable on camera or behind a microphone—experience in podcasting and/or video production is a big plus.
A collaborative mindset and the ability to work to tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Strong understanding of journalistic ethics and editorial guidelines.
Responsibilities & Context
Edit, rewrite, and proofread articles, interviews, and features for our print magazine and website.
Maintain the Golf House tone, style, and content quality across all formats.
Ensure that all names, statistics, and golf event details are accurate and up-to-date.
Write and post content daily across Facebook, LinkedIn, and the Golf House website.
Create engaging headlines, captions, and short articles suitable for social platforms.
Work with designers and video editors to ensure visuals match the content theme.
Plan and produce at least one video every alternate day.
Write scripts, record voiceovers, and ensure on-brand storytelling.
Coordinate with the team for shooting, editing, and publishing.
Host and conduct the weekly Golf House Podcast, featuring golfers, industry leaders, and tournament winners.
Help plan episodes, write scripts or talking points, and promote new episodes on all platforms.
Contribute to monthly editorial calendars, special issues, and feature story ideas.
Stay updated on trends in golf, sports media, and lifestyle content.
