Role Overview
Middlewell Travels is hiring a Customer Support Officer to manage customer interactions across our platforms, ensure fast issue resolution, and deliver a high-quality support experience. The ideal candidate is responsive, organized, and comfortable handling payments, bookings, and user inquiries in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to customer inquiries via chat, email, and phone in a timely manner
* Assist users with bookings, payments, and account-related issues
* Resolve complaints professionally and escalate complex cases when necessary
* Monitor transactions and flag failed or suspicious payments
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions
* Provide feedback to product and operations teams based on customer insights
* Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through proactive support
Requirements
* Minimum of OND / HND / BSc in any discipline
* 1–2 years experience in customer support, preferably in fintech, travel, or e-commerce
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
* Ability to multitask and work under pressure
* Basic understanding of online payments and digital platforms
* Proficiency in using support tools (WhatsApp, email, CRM systems)
* Must be based in Lagos and available to resume immediately
Preferred Skills
* Experience handling payment issues (failed transactions, refunds, disputes)
* Familiarity with customer support tools or ticketing systems
* Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
